In this life full of uncertainties and a world full of people, we are looking for a trustworthy soul whatever the pursuit. This becomes the prime factor when hiring someone for a responsible task and turns out to be the biggest deciding factor in marriages. Is it not? Each of us desires to lean on the one who will always be there for us. We desire and deserve to be owned by the one who will back us up all the time and likewise show the way when we are being wrong. When looking for love, we are yearning for trust. Isn’t that so?
This quest makes us believe and disbelieve various things, and so leads to confusion quite many times. To end all that, here is a way: bursting the huge myth. First things first. Are you the kind that thinks spiritual inclination equates trustworthiness? Then, deeply think about this again. You now know the answer: “Of course, not. Definitely not.” Great! Now, let’s trace our way to the answer that we badly need.
Having seen spiritually inclined people err or seeing our own spiritual inclination not help out at times, we are sure that spiritual inclination need not equate trustworthiness. Well, why is that so? How is that so? Once you are on the spiritual path and are on your processes diligently, you witness your own spiritual core and also see your karmic identifications rise up alongside. Yes, the latter is an essential side-effect of your Sadhana. All the falsehood in you rises up stirring your very self. This way, your spiritual processes unveil your own hindrances. Now, the question is whether you will acknowledge this rightly to see it off you forever or cling on to it to end up in a mess? Thus, whenever you identify your ego attempting to fail you, you win being spiritually inclined. Otherwise, you succumb to your peaking ego and go down the dark karmic well despite all the spiritual efforts you are into.
Hope you got the point. If not yet, take this evergreen example: Ravan and Ram. Both of them are known for their spiritual inclination. But, why Ravan was egoistic and idiotic, when Ram was the very opposite? It is because Ravan succumbed to his own ego that flared up on his austerities, whereas Ram consciously evolved with His every step, piously adapting to the challenges thrown before Him. Hence, success in spiritual evolution depends on how well we allow ourselves to be conscious and spiritual, whenever our karmic tendencies rear up. With this, we may define trustworthiness as being conscious and spiritual despite one’s own karmic makeup.
So, to attract a trustworthy soul for work or wedding, stay spiritual and conscious all the way. Yes, being as spiritual as Ram and standing the tests of the Sadhana yields you the best every time. Many are being spiritually inclined, but only some see themselves spiritual all the time and that makes all the difference. Remember: Ravan was only spiritually inclined, but Ram was spiritual all the time. Jai Shri Ram! 🙏🏽
